Jaquelino Massingue

Jaquelino Massingue is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager

With 21 years of experience in the agricultural sector, Jaquelino began working at the Ministry of Agriculture as an agricultural market system information (SIMA) analyst, then as an agrarian policy analyst and adviser to the Ministry's Board, in addition to representing the same in internal and external multisectoral working groups, including WTO multilateral trade system. After interrupting his work to continue his studies, Jaquelino returned to the Ministry through the hand of the Michigan State University (MSU) MOZCAPAN Project, supporting the Ministry of Agriculture in various matters related to agriculture and nutrition and the elaboration of the PNISA monitoring system (Investment Plan for Agrarian Sector). After a brief stint at WFP-UN and IFPRI as a consultant in the elaboration of the study of the cost of hunger in Africa/Mozambique and Assessment of information needs for Food and Nutrition Security in Mozambique, respectively, I joined the MEL team of the Agricultural Innovations Project (FTF-Inova), implemented by DAI Global, as Specialist and Manager.

Jaquelino is an Agronomist graduated from Eduardo Mondlane University and Agro Economist/Agricultural Marketing (MPhil/PhD) from the University of Greenwich. Jaquelino is a reader and has interests in the areas of monitoring, evaluation and learning in projects, agricultural production, agrarian economy, links between agriculture and nutrition, food and nutrition security, design, implementation and analysis of surveys.

Jaquelino was a footballer and sports manager and remains connected to sport and socialization through various social and sports groups with innovative projects.
