Dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant, Henrique Cuambe has more than 6 years’ experience in Financial services.

Before joining DAI SPEED, Henrique worked almost four years at CARE International in Mozambique as Deputy Grants, Contracts and budget Manager and Finance Coordinator 

 While working as deputy Grants Manager, he was responsible for providing support on Budget’s preparation, ensuring Donor’s regulation compliance, prepare Financial reports organizing audits, liaising with the grantor, following grantor guidelines, and conducting Due Diligences and Training for Sub recipients.

As Finance Coordinator he was responsible for ensuring complete and accurate financial data, records and proper documentation are maintained by the Country Office, coordinates the processing of all financial data in the system in a timely manner to assist management in meeting donor compliance and other statutory requirements, coordinating the monthly financial books closing and ensuring complete, accurate, reliable and timely recording of financial information to facilitate the month end close supports annual audit preparations including Project specific audits monthly cashflow planning and funds requests preparations including the required banking services.

 Henrique also worked for an International Audit firm KPMG as External financial Auditor where he was responsible for conducting Audit of Statutory and consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS´s, PGC NIRF and US GAAPs, review of Financial Statements, testing and evaluation of Internal controls, substantive testing (Analytical testing, test of details, corroborative interviews).
