SPEED’s internship program prepares young Mozambicans for the job market
Since 2021, SPEED has hosted 12 interns (7 women and 5 men) as part of the project team, equipping them with on-the-job training and skills to manage projects, communicate effectively, and contribute to analyses and debates that influence national policies. By 2025, SPEED expects to host a total of 25 interns across different portfolios. Boaventura Tembe, 24, is an intern with the Finance and Administration team at SPEED and shared his feedback on the program. “During my time at SPEED I have been able to apply all the different skills related to accounting and auditing that I have learned at university, in practice. Now, I feel well-prepared for the job market."
